Consumer Directed Services
You're in Control of Your Care
CDS is a Medicaid-funded program that lets you choose your own caregiver — a family member, friend, or trusted neighbor — instead of having an agency assign one to you.
What is CDS?
Care on Your Terms
Consumer Directed Services (CDS) is a Medicaid waiver program designed to give individuals with disabilities and seniors the power to direct their own home care. Rather than receiving services from a traditional home health agency, you become the employer of your caregiver — and we become your fiscal intermediary, handling all the administrative and employer responsibilities on your behalf.
You choose your caregiver
Select someone you already know and trust — a family member, friend, or neighbor.
We handle the paperwork
Payroll, taxes, background checks, and compliance — all managed by our team.
Medicaid pays the cost
Eligible recipients receive CDS services at no out-of-pocket cost through Medicaid.
You set the schedule
Work with your caregiver to create a care schedule that fits your life and needs.
